Flash Player 11.9

I was prompted to install flash player 11.9, so i installed it (regrettably). Now when i go to youtube and type in the youtube search window, the youtube site freezed and i have to hit refresh.  I tried uninstalling 11.9 and youtube was fine, so it appears that 11.9 is the problem.  what to do?

is there 24/7 help on this site like it says?

YouTube is in the process (it will take about 24 months by their estimate) of converting every video on their site to HTML5, which will not require Flash Player.
For what you describe. I'd recommend disabling Hardware acceleration for Flash Player: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/891337
