Confirmed. We will take a look.
As a workaround you can use the p key - for me clicking with the mouse toggles all changes, using p toggles only the changes in the current tab.
Hey Lempinet, this helped alot! thank you so much!
This issue should be corrected in the final version of ACR 8.3 (released Dec 11).
And again!!! with the update to 8.4 the preview shows ALL changes instead of tab by tab!!
And this time no workaround by pressing the P key!
Now you have to save the state "tab by tab" to have the ability to compare the before and after within one tab
really don't understand why they make something simple so complicated!
Agreed, while I welcome the ability to preview all the changes at once, I would like to retain the old functionality of the tab by tab preview. Hard to tell if you have used excessive noise reduction if that part of the image is as not visible without the general tad adjustments present (when trying to compare for detail loss).
Also well explained here: https://forums.adobe.com/message/6292569#6292569
A workaround for now would be to close the image and re-open after you're happy with each tab (as if you get them all right first time!).
