    Missing uninstaller for cs4

I'm trying to uninstall and reinstall cs4 on a Macbook Pro running Mavericks, using the cleaner tool. I'm following the instructions here: http://http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.htm l; however, when I go to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers, there is no uninstaller listed. I clicked on the installer that is there, just to see what would happen, and I got the message "startup error. Required support files are missing."

I've also tried to run the InDesign uninstaller, and I get the same  "required support files are missing" message.

How can I get cs4 off my computer (and hopefully back on)? Thanks for any thoughts.
