For the last week, I have been unable to use the command+z command to undo a step in Indesign CC. When I use the command, it either undoes 4-5 steps or it reverts the file back to the last saved version. I cannot figure out what is going on. Is there a preference set somewhere that I don't know about?
Thanks for your help!
Thanks, Steve! I think that worked.
Do you on occasion run scripts on your documents? There are a few scripts that don't like to be interrupted (whether by the user or due to a crash or error), because they temporarily *disable* the Undo-function to make them run faster.
Usually you don't need to Undo as long as everything runs okay, and so it can be a while before you can link this behavior with *one* script in particular. I'd have to look in my trash can but I think one of the free 'merge tables' scripts that float around the forum suffered from this bug/feature.
