I'm interested to know if anyone else has had this happen.
About 10 days ago Acrobat Pro XI was installed on my laptop at work. Yesterday the entire app just disappeared from my computer about mid-day.
Yup, disappeared, as if someone had purposely uninstalled it! Gone! Not listed as an installed program in Control Panel - Programs. All of the directories and files in the Program Files directory on the C: drive were gone. The only thing left of it was the destop shortcut, but it was blank (no Adobe icon) and only the text under the blank icon remained.
I did a quick Google search on "Acrobat uninstalls itself" and did find many hits that indicated others have had Acrobat products uninstall themsleves.
But I wanted to come to the source and ask:
How many of you have had Acrobat Pro XI, or any Acrobat product, mysteriously uninstall itself?

This is happening for me as well. Acrobat.exe is disappearing from program files; however everything else is still present. Acrobat is being installed by Group Policy but I can't figure out it that is actually the problem.
