1. Re: encore is loading huge amounts to bd-rom content of disc.
bigmanfontu Nov 24, 2013 3:17 AM (in response to andreworleans)I think in this case, because of the very peculiar error you're receiving, a screenshot of Encore doing this would be helpful.

Stan Jones Nov 24, 2013 7:00 PM (in response to bigmanfontu)There was another thread on this, that had a screenshot:

Appears to be a Mavericks issue.

Stan Jones Dec 21, 2013 5:04 AM (in response to TechTracker)What version of Encore? A user is another thread is using Mavericks with CS6 successfully with probably unrelated other issues.
I don't believe anyone has reported back with results for possible workarounds/fixes for this.
For example, can you add some actual ROM content, then delete that? If you can, does it load okay the next time?
I am PC and have not following the detail of various issue in Premiere and After Effects. Here, I continue to wonder about permissions and disk handling.

7. Re: encore is loading huge amounts to bd-rom content of disc.
TechTracker Dec 21, 2013 11:21 AM (in response to Stan Jones)I am using Encore CS5.1 (with Adobe Dynamic Link to Premeire Pro CS5.5--from the same CS5.5 suite).
Ah-ha! When I add ROM content, it works and only shows the content I added, but when I delete it, the extreme amont of ROM content comes back. So I guess the best workaround solution at this point would be to add some sort of ROM content (small text document or something) and just keep that on the disk. Thank you!17" Early 2011 Macbook Pro

Stan Jones Dec 21, 2013 11:43 AM (in response to TechTracker)Wow! How odd is that. Sounds like a good workaround to me.
I started to speculate that this was related to the normal Encore empty showing of "526 KB used." But that is DVD; BD shows zero.
If you have the error, does it prevent you building?
Anyone with Mavericks/EN CS6? What do you see?

9. Re: encore is loading huge amounts to bd-rom content of disc.
ryansuits Jan 8, 2014 7:07 AM (in response to andreworleans)I was having the same issue with Encore CS5 in Mavericks on two different computers. It looked like it was defaulting to adding my entire Documents folder as BD-ROM content. Making a new empty folder for BD-ROM conent and choosing that fixed the issue for me

10. Re: encore is loading huge amounts to bd-rom content of disc.
Stan Jones Jan 8, 2014 8:57 AM (in response to ryansuits)Thanks for reporting. Empty folder is even better than a small folder!
When you add the empty folder, does the build panel show zero as the amount of bd-rom content? Just curious.
You have to do this for each project, correct?
