@Samuri – how is the text file or the csv file encoded?
Unicode (UTF-8), Unicode (UTF-16), Traditional Chinese (Macintosh), SImplified Chinese (Macintosh) or Chinese (GB 18030); or something else?

I'd try UTF-8 and Traditional Chinese (Big 5) in csv file. Indesign is TC version. OS X had changed to Chinese interface.
I just want to make a ical and repeat the event as below:
<<lunar>> is chinese character.
@Samuri – could you try with a different encoding?
E.g. Unicode (UTF-16).
And a text file instead of csv out of TextEdit app?
I'm not familiar with your configuration. It's just a guess…
I change the csv to UTF-16 and it's work.

@Samuri – I'm glad it worked for you. Recently I had problems with image file paths and changing the encoding to UTF-16 worked for me as well.
So, mark my answer #3 as "correct"…
