    Computer Montior Advice Please

Please pardon the area this is posted in... I did not see a Speed Grade Forum, as this is where some real industry pro's are anyways. Some real Mac Gyvers who can really make  a dollar hollar..

      Hi All,

I am on the market for a very small budget  monitor... I was considering this Dell u2412m (To maybe later getting a second one, at a  total $600 for 50" across my desk)

I am now delving into Indy movies for Festival curcuit. I want a monitor that I can color correct good enough for DCP or BluRay. (as those are the indy formats)

Currently I have been using a 20" Dell DVI out and a 42" 720 TV HDMI out powered by my Nvidia Quadro 4000. Coupled to my Win7 W.S -CS6 Suite

I get a blend of both and go from there...I have had no compliants as others view my work on their TV's  via stream using Game consoles to TV and the likes.

Using a crappy Youtube 720 codec for a platform.

As a matter of fact they say the color is perfect on their end.... Yet I would like to get a little more precise instead of a Blend. As I am now moving into a DCP and Bluray arena. (Festival stuff)

I am sure I will always use an HD TV (double check)  to preview out before render and export. However I would like to not have to turn on the TV to then get  a blend plus that 20" is making these 49yr old  eyes weary.

Thanks for any direction on this... (Yes, I know 2500.00 will do the trick, there again I am on a very small budget here)
