To reference an external stylesheet in your application, simply put a style tag in your main application file.
Cheer for that David.
What about syntax. I've read that the syntax for manipulating objects in Flex is slightly different. Where can I find a Flex/CSS reference doc? Also, does somebody have a Flex Style Sheet they could post so we could take a look at it? I'm also interested in hyjacking the default style for Flex apps, where can this be found?
Thanks again in advance everyone.
Sorry I don't have any complete reference on Flex/CSS. But I usually find all I need in the documentation.
There is also a really nice application which allows you to manipulate the graphical aspects of the application. What's nice is that it creates a CSS file you just have to copy/paste in your application.
Here is the link to the app: http://examples.adobe.com/flex2/consulting/styleexplorer/Flex2StyleExplorer.html
Cheers for all the great links guys, they've been a real help!
Any other good suggestions for the budding, style-conscious newbie? What about controlling layout via CSS, positioning, z-index etc.. easy enough?
