I've created an A5 document and want to print edge to egde. Having scoured all the solutions I have set the margins to zero, unchecked 'use document bleed settings' and printing the thing about 100 times but cannot get rid of the white border around the egde. Should I be looking at the printer or document settings in Indesign?
Printer is a Samsung colour laser CLX-6260ND
Appreicate any help and I promise I have searched far and wide for a solution before posting! Doing my head in.
Your printer is probably incapapable of borderless printing. The only printers I've ever seen that can do borderless are inkjets designed for photo printing, and those only can do it with limited sizes (and that must be set in the driver).
I'm afraid you need to print this the old-fashioned way -- use a larger sheet and trim.
Thanks Peter - at least its not me going mad. I changed it recently from an HP photo printer that had a 'fill paper' option which seemed so simple. Seems ridiculous that a modern day laser printer cant do something as simple as that.
