Mainconcept Pro HD 4.1.1 and Premiere CS3

According to the Main Concept web site their Pro HD program should allow me to edit MTS files in Premiere CS3. I downloaded their free trial version. In Premiere CS3 when I attempted to import some MTS files I got a message that stated the file format was not recognized.

You might ask in the forum where CS3 is discussed http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere/premierepro_previous?view=all

Since that is a several generation old program, you MAY not find many people still using it

Are you sure you downloaded the correct plugin, there are several.

I downloaded the file you recommended. In Available Presets I selected Main Concept MPEG Pro. Then I clicked on AVC-HD. I tried the following choices: AVCHD 1920 x 1080 24p, 1920 x 1080 50i and 1920 x1080 60i. Each time that I attempted to load an AVCHD MTS video I received the following message: Unsupported format or damaged file. My camcorder is a Sony HDR CX380. It records the video in the AVCHD format. I am using the demo version of Main Concept MPEG Pro.

I looked at the Main Concept Pro HD Toolbox. It gave me the choice to activate the program. The choices are: H264/MPEG: Import, edit, and export MPEG 1/2 , H264, HDV, AVCHD. Do I need to activate the Demo version to have Premiere CS3 accept my MTS files?

Am I right your camera only shoots 60p. That could be an issue (cannot test it). Presets are only 24p and 60i I presume.

My Sony HDR CX380 shoots in 60i.

If the demo does not work no point in buying it.
Maybe you should contact Mainconcept, I am out of ideas.

I have e-mailed Main Concept. Based on other's experiences with this company, I do not expect to get a response. I recently purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 12. I will used it to edit my AVCHD videos.
