    Issue with scrollbar in List component

    m@simdev
      Hello,
      Hoping someone can help me here. I'm using a list component that runs an action when one of the items is clicked on. The problem is, that once you've reached the edge of one of the sides of the bar, if you click on the scrollbar again, if will run clip events based on the user clicking on the list, but it won't run the on(scroll) event, causing the 1st item in the list to be automatically selected. Here's an example of the code I'm writing:

      on (scroll)
      {
      inScroll = 1;
      }

      onClipEvent (mouseUp)
      {
      if (!inScroll)
      {
      (run action based on selected item)
      }
      else
      {
      inScroll = 0;
      }
      }

      Anybody know of a way to detect if the scrollbar is being clicked on instead of an item? Or can anyone think of a way to logically determine that the scrollbar has been clicked that won't run the actions for the 1st item in the list?

      Thanks,
      M@
