internal error for two files OSX

    squidz Level 1
I have two files that are causing problems. when I try to open them here at work, I get the "couldn't complete you request, internatl error". The only way I can open them is the reinstall Fireworks and throw away preferences. Currently, I can open numerous other FW files, just not these. I have proper permissions. I worked on the files yesterday from home just fine.

I cannot be reinstalling FW every freaking time I need to reopen these files.

      Anyone have any insights?

      On FW8, Mac OSX 10.4.8, G5 Dual 2.3 with 2G RAM

Did you use fonts on one computer that aren't installed on the other?

Linda, both systems are in sync font-wise. Usually, if a font isn't available, the replace/maintain look pops. For the third time, I have been forced to throw away preferences and reinstall FW8. It works. So, the question will be when I return to work and move to open one of those files tomorrow will the error repeat?

I wish I could be more help, Squidz. Your best bet is probably to
contact Adobe Technical support. Some free support time came with the
              software.
