I am using Photoshop CC on a MAC. When I use the Color Sampler Tool on an image, I used to get a small circle at the sample point with a number next to it indicating the sample point number. I now get two black squares at the selected sample point - one large, and a second smaller one at the lower right corner. I also am getting funny (small rectangles) at the corners of the crop as well as a black square when I use the Crop Tool. All this started when I downloaded a sample version of NIK Efex Software. Any idea what's going on?
Google updated the plugins recently to correct this problem:

Version 1.109 (December 11/2013) is the latest:
Fixed black or white tile artifacts that might have occurred after returning to Photoshop from plug-ins
You can find out the version you have installed by launching Photoshop:
On Mac: Select Photoshop>About Plug-in>Analog Efex Pro… (or any other NIK Plug-in)
On Windows: Select Help>About Plug-in>Analog Efex Pro… (or any other NIK Plug-in)
