    lrcat file deletes itself!?

I am not sure and don't think that this is a CC issue, but it is strange behavior.

I do a daily backup of LR catalog, which is backed up directly to a directory of my Cloud folder which then auto backups to the cloud storage, simple enough.

(I keep 5-7 backips and remove  the older ones at each end of week.)

However some backuos go missing from it's folder and sometimes can be found in the recycle bin (Win 8.1) possibly every time this happens, but if I have a fair amount of files I probably wouldn't spot  it as I am not looking for it as I am very careful about what I delete.

One time, you may think you deleted it by mistake, I guess that could happen, but this happens intermittently, so some go AWOL and others don't.

I had considered that I must be doing something to cause this but I cannot think of what that might be.

Tonight I done the usual process, making sure the recycle bin was empty, close LR and let it backup the catalog and left the computer to do its thing.

When I came back the lrcat file is sitting happily in the recycle bin and the backup folder empty.

I know it sounds crazy, files cannot delete themselves! Can they?

I have let this go on for some time to be sure I am not doing somnthing obvious that causes this.

I cannot recall this hapening before Win 8.1, but it may have.

Has anyone encountered this problem or have any idea what might be causing this.

      Maybe ubrelated, but for completeness..

I have also noticed a file called lrcat-journal turning up in my archive, that never used to happen either.

I am not certain if this is risidual from deleted backups.
