I've created a wall calendar in InDesign. In preflight, there are 80 errors, all overset text. Does this mean that the overset text just won't show up in print? Because if that's the case, I don't need it anyway. So would I need to delete it or deal with it at all if I don't need it printed? Thank you for any help. I'm still learning.
Text overset won't show in print
1.Salah Fadlabi is correct.
However, I always delete overset text, to avoid confusion and to be safe that
a third party person/print company opening the document won't be confused.
Different people work in different ways!
Hope this info' is of help.
Another reason to remove oversets you don't want is to avoid the possibility that they will accidentally become visible at some point in the future, and of course text that is not there cannot have any sort of hidden problem that might crop up during export.
