Can any one describe how to achieve the effect of a pop-up login/register bok like the one on this vbulletin board --> http://www.ghostnote.net/vbforum/

Click the "login" button on the top left to see what I mean.

      THANKS,

      TOM

css and javascript. it looks like a show/hide layers using javascript to
          'draw' the box.

Any idea where I might be able to find a script like this to see and learn from?

Is there one in Dreamweaver Exchange?

              http://projectseven.com had a show/hide script a while back - it's probably
still there. I'm not sure where to find one to draw the layer like that -
most just blink into existence. PVII might be able to help you out, though,
as their 2-column layout draws layers like that.

Basically, you're just going to set your div to hidden, and show it on click
              of login.

make sense? Have you used CSS? If not, you'll need to study up on the
              principles first.
