Your site says I have Flash installed, but it's nowhere on my computer...

I went to install the latest version of Flash, and according to the checkpoints on your site, I already have it installed...but NO version is on my computer.  And when I try to install it, it stops at 50% and says I have to close Internet Explorer and retry, which I do, but it just continues to say retry...I've tried this several times.  I've also restarted my computer, but it still shows nothing.  HELP!!!
