Hardware question: building an AE proof system (Windows)

    THX1138

      Hi,

I'd like your opinion on a new computer system I'm building. I'll primarily use it for AE an Photoshop and have the following specs in mind:

      CPU: Quad Core 3,5 GHz

      (Intel Core i7 4770K Boxed)

      GPU: 1 GHz

      (Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5)

      RAM: 2x 8GB

      (Crucial Ballistix Tactical BLT2C8G3D1608ET3LX0CEU)

      SSD: 128GB

      SSD: 256GB

      HDD: 3 x 1TB

To spread the workload I want to dedicate every drive to a specific task:

      C: OS/Programs - SSD

      D: Projects - SSD

      E: Cache/Scratch - HDD

      F: Media - HDD

      G: Exports - HDD

What do you guys think? Is this a good configuration? Or should I also add RAID drives?
      Thanks.
