1. Re: wordpress to Dreamweaver and BC
Lynda Spangler Dec 2, 2013 1:32 PM (in response to William Noel)I have moved Wordpress to BC without issue.
To do this I rebuilt the site. I didn't have to move blog post, etc. as the wordpress site was fairly new and not working right (the reason for the move to BC.)
BC cannot run PHP so any PHP used on the site will have to be removed. You should be able to use the the HTML and CSS with some changes for web forms and other functions originally handled by PHP.
Here is a tutorial if it helps any. (I have not read through it so I am unsure if it is helpful or not.)

2. Re: wordpress to Dreamweaver and BC
William Noel Dec 2, 2013 2:27 PM (in response to Lynda Spangler)Thank YOU Linda,
I imported it into BC trial and is now downloading to local.
All pages look the same as original server version.
I know to re build the forms so they work in BC etc.
How do I tell if there is any php in this site?
I don't see any table code that looks like php yet.
Even the Blog came in -intact- even though footer says powered by wordpress.
I will rebuild the blog in BC and import the existing posts etc.
Great so far.

3. Re: wordpress to Dreamweaver and BC
Lynda Spangler Dec 2, 2013 3:00 PM (in response to William Noel)From my experience I see PHP for the various WP plugins used on the site. I am unsure how many plugins the site is using or if those plugins use PHP. You may have parts of the site break that uses WP Plugins because of this, however, I have little experience with WP and I speak from what little I have seen.
The sites I moved from WP have been complete rebuilds so I transferred some content but not the entire site files.
