Paragraph styles are continuing a numerical/alphabetical count from a separate paragraph style.

I need help understanding how I can set several paragraph styles so I can begin a numerical count - have a alphabetical count inside the numerical count - and then continue with the first, original numerical count.

I know I based the alphabetical style off the numerical one - but I went ahead and based it on no style b/c I thought it was messing with it...

Please help me if you can, I appreaciate it!

When setting up numbering in the paragraph style property dialog, there is a setting "List". Used it to create a new list for every p.style that shall have its own numbering scheme, so they different styles do not interfere.
