Please read this:
Are Photoshop and OS fully updated and have you performed the usual trouble-shooting routines (trashing prefs by pressing command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift while starting Photoshop until the appropriate dialog appears after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed, 3rd party plug-ins deactivation, system maintenance, cleaning caches, font validation, etc.)
Wow...that was quick. never heard of doing any of this. i have windows 8.1 loaded on computer...think that is what you mean by OS. Photoshop was downloaded from adobe creative cloud within the last month. I apologise...i needed to also mention that I am new to all of this. I used to use elements 10 however due to worksize I was doing, laptop died and had to get new computer so downloaded ps 6. Not really sure what I am doing. I hit these buttons and it just sent me to adobe sign in and stated I needed to register and update...did that...same issue.
oh and thank you
what if I uninstall the program and reinstall? Will that help?
