So I made a document on InDesign that has buttons. Every button is on the primary page and when clicked on the button takes you to another page I created (within the same document). When I export as an interactive PDF or SWF it works perfect. When I export it to HTML the buttons disapear and every page is displayed one after another.
The goal of this project I am doing is to get the document I am creating on to an existing website. The designer of this site uses dreamweaver, but does not know how to get my InDesign document on to dreamweaver and then the website. Can someone give me step by step instructions for how I would do this in a way that will work with the interactive buttons?? Thanks!!
InDesign is not compatible with Dreamweaver - and PDFs and SWFs are not correct formats to import to Dreamweaver.
InDesigns export to HTML is not a direct output of your page as layout for the internet.
Realistically it would best for your designer to copy your PDF layout and recreate it in Dreamweaver.

You can get the basics out of InDesign for use in Dreamweaver
But you need to construct the documents in Dreamweaver using the content that is exported from InDesign.
