I bought photoshop off of amazon.com (the download-able version) and when trying to install it I get this message:
"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this application is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."
Download the trial directly from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us and use the serial number from Amazon to activate it.

It is not clear what product that you have. Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. All you say is that you are having difficulties installing Photoshop from a download from Amazon. Since this is the Premiere Elements Forum, the question should be placed in
Adobe Photoshop Forum
Adobe Photoshop Elements Forum
I did find one Adobe document on the Error 1335
but it seems aimed at installation by disc. Are you doing the installation with the antivirus and firewalls off?
We will be watching for your progress depending on how the moderator directs your thread.
By the way, did you get a purchased serial number from Amazon yet?
