That camera is not on the list of supported cameras. Is it a new model, or could you have possibly meant LX7?
Panasonic DMC-GX 7 is listed in ver.8.2 !
My mistake, sorry. I either overlooked it or the list that I looked at isn't up to date. I'm wondering if perhaps you are getting caught in the familiar trap that a lot of new users encounter. When you have opened the DNG converter and are looking for your files, are you actually opening the folder containing the raw images when you are browsing from within the DNG converter? That is what a lot of new users do, and they get the message that there are no files in that folder. Notice that the prompt is asking for the FOLDER. Just choose the folder, but don't open it. Then click on the Convert button. When the DNG converter is used in this manner the conversion begins and a list of the files is displayed so that it is possible to monitor the progress.
Thank you for your answer, but I am even more confused!
I develop Raw files in Elements 11.
The DNG converter is located under : program files(x86)/ Adobe (where also Elements 11 is stored )
With my former camera ( Panasonic DMC-GX 1 ) the development of Raw-files was performing without problems in Elements editing program.
The download of ver.8.2 is o.k. and was placed automatically in the same place as the former version. ( I re-downloaded a couple of times to be sure)
But the converter do not read the files !

Re: DNG conv. 8.2 /Panasonic DMC-GX 7/RW 2 files ?
I am compelled to ask because your answer isn't clear. You indicated that you downloaded it twice. The question: did you run the installation after you downloaded? Are you aware that what you downloaded is an installation program and not just the DNG converter?
Yes, I am aware of that.
Sorry that I had to ask. We see some strange responses on these forums sometimes. So, what happens when you try to convert images using the DNG converter that you downloaded?

I managed to open my raw-files in the DNGconverter, but in a different way than I used with my former camera.
With my Panasonic GX 1 the raw-files opened automaticly in Elements 11.
Thank`s for helping.
Now I have to shuffle snow as we are in the middle of a terrible snowstorm here in Norway !
