Hard to describe in a title, so here goes...
I have a presentation I'm working on that's really short, and it includes an .flv movie loading dynamically by an FLVPlayback widget.
Everything's fine, but when I get to the frame with the MC it blinks a black frame before the movie actually starts. It's realy distracting, since the stage background is white. How can I get around this?
The movie clip has NO black frames at the beginning. I'll post an embedded .swf if I can't explain what I see.
As I understand it, I have the FLVPlayback set to load the .flv dynamically, not embedded. Is there a difference in performance if it's embedded?
One thing you could try is to have a plain white shape as a movieclip covering the FLVPlayback component and make it disappear as soon as the fla starts playing.
Thanks, fixed it.
It's not perfect, but 30 frame fade-in transition (MC) hides that black frame "blink" that was annoying as ____.
