the latest driver/software suite from Dell is for MAC OS 10.8 (don't know if this will work for 10.7.5).
you should have the driver and PPD (you need a PPD) installed for your 3760 and you need to set this up in Indesign.
as far as cmyk profile to select--see attached images--(try some of these settings).note the Acrobat message
Right, I have the latest driver, and it does work for 10.7.5 — it just doesn't have a icc file for a profile.
I'll try using the sheetfed coated profile.
So, are you saying I shouldn't go near the system print dialogue box in Acrobat? Can I be sure I'm not "double managing" the color if I leave it alone? (Sorry if I'm being dense.)
the ICC profile is set in the Indesign document (not at the printer)
if you are using acrobat XI, it should/will pick up the color settings that are set in the PDF from Indesign (as long as the 'printer' is set to your Dell printer) in fact, if this is the only connected printer, it should automatically have the 'printer' set (see the printer setting in the print dialog in acrobat).
