It's not recognizing your CUDA driver. Restart the computer.
I restarted. No change. I uninstalled, then reinstalled. No change...hmm.
Try rolling back to a previous CUDA driver.
Just tried that; no dice.
I'm having the exact same issue, but with a Quadro FX 4800.
OS X 10.9.1
2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
AE CC 220.127.116.11
NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 1792 MB
CUDA Driver 5.5.28
GPU Driver 8.18.28
Tried manually uninstalling the CUDA components from /Library and /System/Library, rebuilding kext caches, re-installing, re-starting, repairing permissions, nada.
After Effects (and Premiere Pro) say that the driver version is "1.0" Also, running the GPU Sniffer program inside AE and PP both likewise show the driver version as 1.0. Sounds like either NVIDIA botched the version descriptor in their latest installs, or the way Adobe is looking for version information is somehow not reading the correct information.
Can you recommend a particular version to roll back TO? A "known-good" version?
