Just wondering if anyone can help me.
I have a Canon 7d, and when I open my shots in Adobe Camera RAW in Photoshop CS6, under the lens profile correction section, it brings up the correct lens Make and Model, but the Profile displays as a 'Canon EOS - 1D Mark 3'. If I click on the drop down menu, there is an option to select 'Adobe (Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM)'.
I’m not sure why it’s not displaying Canon 7D which is my Camera? Should I be selecting the second option in the drop down menu?
I’ve attached a few screen shots for people to look at so this makes more sense.
If anyone can help, that would be great.
Hi Brian. Do you have the latest updates for Camera RAW? I am not entirely sure how it works, because I understand Adobe will continue to support CS6 for new cameras, but without some of the functionality that comes with ACR 8.# in CC. Whether those updates also include new camera and lens profiles, I don't know. But t6he 7D has been around for a while now, and I would expect it and your lens to be supported.
