I have after effects CC on a windows 7 64 bit laptop system with 16 gb of ram. With a intel core i7-3610qm 2.30GHz cpu. with two 750 gb SATA 7,200 rpm hard drives in a raid 0 configuration. My video card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675M. My problem is it takes over 1 hr 10 min to render a 6 min and 42 second green screen clip with a back ground? In premiere CC using ultra key it only takes 10 - 12 min for the same thing that after effects is doing? I like after effects keylight 1.2 so much better than ultra key. So any ideas on speeding up my renders in after effects so it wont take over and hour to render a clip that is only 6 min and 42 seconds long? I believe that is way to long to render a clip?

That is not an unusual amount of time. Some visual effects and 3D animation shots in After Effects take an entire weekend to render 30 seconds of finished video. This is normal for compositing and 3D software.
See this page for resources about making After Effects work faster: http://adobe.ly/eV2zE7
Comparing performance between Premiere Pro and After Effects is comparing apples and oranges. They are very different programs for different things. Premiere Pro is for realtime video editing; After Effects is for complex compositing and animation.
