How about export to AVI with DV codec??

I asked an Adobe rep on the phone whether Captivate movies would import into Premiere Pro he said yes, that you just import the SWF file into Premiere - 2.0 or CS3, he said. Well, I tried to import SWF movies created by the free trial version, and Premiere Pro 2.0 said it was not a supported format.

There are many occasions in the video production department where I work, where we need to demonstrate how to navigate certain websites, etc. A good screen recording software that would allow its captures to be directly imported into a non-linear video edit software with DV codec is badly needed, and as far as I've found, there is no such software out there. I thought surely Adobe would have thought of this integration with Captivate. And, how about a screen capture software that, even if you capture an entire computer screen of 1280 x 1024, automatically resizes everything down to a standard 720 x 480 for video (or widescreen video, however you set up the video standard...even 1080 or 720 HD if you want). Reading this, Adobe?

HI ebinrock and welcome to our community

First off, I have no clue as to whether the Adobe rep provided accurate information regarding the import.

As for anyone from Adobe reading this and responding, this is a user-to-user support area that is not typically monitored by Adobe. If you really want Adobe to see your issue, consider submitting a Wish Form. You may do that by clicking here.

          Sincerely... Rick
