Every new day when I open InDesign on my MacBookAir, I get an "Error 16" message. This requires an uninstall and reinstall (ugh!), and while I've done this before, I have one or more steps to complete the uninstall. I've gone to the applications folder, selected the InDesgin folder, and 'uninstalled' it, but the Creative Cloud still says it is 'up to date' and won't let me re-install InDesign.
And if you can shed some light on why get "Error 16" every day -- I'd love to be enlightened! Thanks!
Quit Creative cloud and then relaunch it. It will let you install InDesign again.
First, what version of InDesign are you running? Did you install it as a single application, or as part of the Creative Suite, or a part of a Creative Cloud subscription?
If you're having persistent problems, you may want to run the Adobe Cleaner tool to remove earlier versions of InDesign and other CS and CC applications:
