I have now uninstalled and reinstalled both and the same is happening.
I have checked plugins, and used Font Book for font validation.
Have you latest version? Check Help/updates.
4 gigs of RAM is really marginal for CC. Can you bump this up to 8 g?
You see four Gb RAM, and I think 32bit operating system. That just doesn't cut it nowadays.
Did not think a Mac has had a 32 bit version since CS5.
