    Questions about Photoshop CC

    Dollarbill

If I purchase Photoshop CC for 9.99 a month for a year, then the price jumps more than I feel that I can afford, do I lose everything that I have paid for the past year. I already own Lightroom 4 & Photoshop CS5 & don't know if I should jump to Photoshop CC not knowing what happens after the first year or how much it will cost.

Adobe claims that the price will not increase back to it's previous rate, but they can't say that it won't change due to inflation.  If you subscribe to CC, you will still be able to use PS CS5 and Lightroom if you decided to stop subscribing.  However, any edits done with CC features that aren't included with CS5 will be rasterized when you try and open a file back in CS5.  for example, if you create a Smart Object layer that uses Field Blur, that Smart Object layer will be rasterized.
