I have searched the forum but could not find an answer to my problem. Never had a problem starting Dreamweaver until this morning. The only thing I did just before is install Windows updates, which all installed successfully and none of which look like they would have affected DW.
Any advise/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

One of the step in your link suggested to run latest updates. I did and it fixed my problem.
