    Windows 8, Internet explorer issues

I am running Windows 8 using Internet explorer.  I had Adobe flash player.  My laptop had an issue and crashed.  Since it was set back to factory settings the Adobe Flash player is no longer installed.  I tried to install it from the website, however it will not allow me to do so.

Flash Player for Internet Explorer in Windows 8 IS installed. It's embedded in the browser by Microsoft as part of Windows. It's an extremely complicated and difficult process to physically remove it. If you did a fresh install of Windows 8, it installed as part of Internet Explorer. You CANNOT download and install, or update it, from here. You MUST do so through Windows Update.
