Lately, when I open a RAW file, some of them open with CS5, others with CS6. This did not happen in the past. How do I insure that all psd, dng and RAW files open with CS6, as in the past?
Please follow the following steps:
1. In the Win7 Start Menu, Search, type "file association"
2. Select the "Change the file type associated with a file extension". This opens a window "Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program".
3. For those files you want to associate with Photoshop click on the chosen file extension and then click on the "Change Program" to associate it to Ps version of your choice.
Sorry, I should have mentioned I use a Mac, not Windows 7.
Since then, I have found the problem lies with my Adobe DNG Converter, which sometimes, but not always, converts my RAW 7.1 files to 6.8. I'll try to solve this by deleting that corrupted program and downloading a new one.
But, thanks for your help.
