How do I wrap text around a circle?

    lwchang Level 1

Hi there! Newbie in inDesign CC here.

As you can see in the attached picture, I want to wrap text around the blue circle, but the program seems to only recognize the square boundaries.

I drew the circle, laid text on top of the circle, and grouped the objects together. I also selected the "wrap around object shape" and tried to select countour options but it's greyed out.

Alternatively, I was able to wrap text around the circle when I imported a graphic I replicated in Photoshop. However, I wasn't happy with the way it looked in inDesign as it seemed to lose some of the fidelity transferring from Photoshop to inDesign.

Can someone please let me know how to correct this? I've read many threads on this forum but I haven't been able to solve my problem yet.
