1. Re: Photoshop CC upscale image tool.
Curt Y Dec 19, 2013 8:07 AM (in response to SFS-DPS)Lots of variables there. Exactly what are you doing, or want to do? Enlarge image, increase resolution?

2. Re: Photoshop CC upscale image tool.
SFS-DPS Dec 19, 2013 8:29 AM (in response to Curt Y)Well to date Ive had great success with manually enhancing images by increasing size (pixels) and adding noise. However since this new filter in CC people seem to think this new filter is doing more then what can manually be done in CS6. Trying to explain to colleges here that though we are not on CC yet that we can still enhance an image to the same degree as the CC filter.
Often Im asked to take a 3000px image and and up it to 15-30K px for murals.

Curt Y Dec 19, 2013 8:45 AM (in response to SFS-DPS)Basically you want to use bicubic smoother when enlarging pictures. See this link http://www.earthboundlight.com/phototips/bicubic-smoother-vs-bicubic-sharper.html
