    Border colours change depending on OS

    mynewmac:)
      Basically I'm new to DW, but I've made my site, uploaded it and everything is working as I want. Apart from if my site is viewed on a windows based pc then all the borders change to blue and then when they've been visited they change to purple. On my mac everything is as I have it set up in DW, a black border with a white hover link!

      Any idea's would be much appreciated,

          It's not an OS issue. It is a browser issue plus lack of needed code.

          All is as you want in Fx3 on WinXP, but not as you wish on IE6. Here's why:

          The property you are wanting to control is not color, it is border-color and
          only on an image that is inside a link. So this rule:
          a img{border-color: #000;} would make the image border black within any link
          in any state. To make the visited border color white:
          a:visited img{border-color:#FFF;}
