SD to HD

I recently purchased a Sony HDR CX 380 HD Camcorder. Premiere CS3 will not import the mts files. I also need to purchase a new computer and the latest version of Premiere Pro. My present computer is five years old. What are the minimum requirements for a new computer. Any brand recommendations?

Go to ADK and check their options... you do NOT want to buy according to Adobe's MINIMUM requirements !!!

As to Premiere Pro... do you want to pay monthly rent for the Cloud version, or a one time purchase?
