This is hard to describe. For years, we have created DVD covers in Indesign and the pdf's have always looked great. But today when we created a cover in Indesign CS6 and then exported it to a pdf, the cover prints a rectangular-shaped box around some of the elements (a box around the title and a box around some photos). The boxes are just slightly darker in color than the rest of the color. The shading is dark enough to be noticeable and annoying. I have no idea where these boxes are coming from and do not want them to appear on the printed cover. How can I get rid of them so that the cover prints uniformly?
Apologies if this isn't clear. Like I said, it's hard to describe.
YDB, lol. Interesting read,l and it could well be what we are dealing with.
In the meantime, we printed some DVD covers directly from Indesign and they turned out fine. But we need to resolve the issue so will try those suggestions. Thanks.
