I am assuming you are creating a form in "FormsCentral" that comes with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI?
In FormsCentral you can create an online form - you cannot add a Print button to the online form, that is not a feature we support.
You can also create a PDF form, you can add a Print button to the PDF:
To edit the FormsCentral PDF further in Acrobat to do something like adding a Print button: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3661
YouTube video on adding Print or Email button: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jql1wp5Gofs
Which previous version of Acrobat did you use before to create forms? Acrobat 11 is enhanced in a number of non-obvious ways with respect to form authoring, and has all of the tools that are available in previous versions. It also adds the FormsCentral app which lets you create simple forms, but it is not required that you use it. I think the wording with "Tools > Forms > Create > Create From Scratch or Template (Create a form from scratch or using a template)" is less than ideal.
wow thanks, this is a great answer and so helpful
Why wouldn't there be a print button on the online form when it is available in PDF? It seems like that would be a fairly simple functionality to add..
