I do not understand the question... do you mean your video will not SHOW on the monitor?

Hi Steve, Sorry I am unsure what you mean, However I will try to explain. PE12 is stored on a file in my computer

              hard drive.

I just click on the file and it appears on screen, well it did for for 6 days but won't do it now.

I have a 4g 64bit so there is plenty of space.

Have restored system several times to see if I could get back in time when it was okay.

              Alas no.

Have reinstalled PE 12 twice but no success.

              Hope this helps

Hi John, The whole PE 12 will not show on screen, I am very green when it comes to getting info about

the drivers. I will try and find out.

I appreciate  you are trying to help.

                Regards Bob.

To open Premiere Elements 12, what happens if you just double click the Premiere Elements 12 icon that was placed on your computer desktop as a result of the program installation?

                  You wrote

Please give the whole path to his file that you are clicking on to open the program?

                  Is it

and in the 12.0 Folder are you clicking on either

                  a. Adobe Premiere Elements 12.exe

                  or

                  b. Adobe Premiere Elements.exe

From the first moment that you installed Premiere Elements 12 until day 6 or 7, did you sign into the program (at least once) with your Adobe ID and Password?

Try a System Restore going back a day or two whenever the program worked for you. If that does not solve the problem, then....

These are my suggestions based on what you just wrote.

                      1. I am assuming that your Premiere Elements 12 is on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.

                      2. Go to Control Panel/Uninstall Programs and determine if Premiere Elements 12 is still listed as an installed program on your computer.

                      3. If it is still listed as installed, uninstall it is that control panel area.

                      4. Run the ccleaner program, regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts.

                      https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

                      5. Reinstall Premiere Elements 12 Windows with antivirus and firewalls disabled.

If you have any questions about the above before you start working through the above, please post to ask your questions.

We will be watching for your follow up.

                      Thanks.

Hi, #1 It is on Windows 7. I have done a system restore. Got adobe back clicked 12.0 folder is empty.

                              #2 Have uninstalled Elements & photo. Note 3 other adobe items they are;

                              Adobe Flash player Active X

                              Adobe     "        "      11 Plugin

                              Adobe Reader X

Do I uninstall them as well ?

At this point I will stop and hopefully continue with you tomorrow as to my progress.

                        Most appreciated Bob.

                          Thanks for the update.

Only uninstall Premiere Elements 12 (the problem) via the Control Panel route using the routine way. If you can get into the Premiere Elements 12 Expert workspace at all, the Sign Out via its Help Menu/Sign Out (that is version 12's version of Deactivate. If you cannot do this, then just move on to the next phases, that is, uninstall, ccleaner, reinstall.

Then run the ccleaner, leave its default choices for cleaning. Do its regular cleaning part and then the registry cleaning part. The registry cleaning part should take care of "leftovers" for incomplete installs or deletions. Before ccleaner does the registry cleaning, it suggests backing up the registry. Say yes to that. Let it clean and fix. Read the instructions carefully.

We will be watching for your progress.

Thank you for the follow ups.
