You should be able to Import (Add Media>Files & Folders) the WAV file to your Project. Then, just drag it to an empty Audio Track. There is also a Soundtrack Audio Track, but that has caused a few issues, in earlier versions of PrE. When that has happened, the "fix" has usually been to just drag the Audio file (the WAV in your case), to an empty Audio Track, such as Audio 2.
Are you having any issues with the Import, or dragging that WAV to an Audio Track?
Good luck, and please let us know a bit more.
Thanks Hunt! OK, i have 'click and dragged' my wav. music file onto the bottom of the screen in the audio bar. And I have also 'clicked and dragged' my video onto the screen. I want this music file to replace the existing audio on the video, What do I do next to accomplish this?
The easiest way is to right-click on the video clip and select Delete Audio.
BTW, did you say you're editing .mv4 video? Is that a video from iTunes?
If so, be aware that many media files from iTunes are copy protected and may not work correctly in any video editing program.
If it works for you, great. If not, that's why.
worked like a charm--thanks again! It was not a copyrighted video--I created it:-)
