I have 5 speech bubbles that I want to duplicate randomly until the entire screen is filled. Since the icon is only 100x100 or so, it will literally take hundreds to fill in the stage completely. What's the best way to do this? I guess I'm looking for something like the way C4D has a duplicator in Mograph.
It just seems strange to have to literally hit CTRL+D 100 times and move all the layers around. Is there a better way?
If the placement of each layer is not crucial, meaning they can appear at random, then you can precomp the balloon layer and use a particle generator like CC Particle Systems II (or the third party effect Trapcode Particular, if you have it) to generate hundreds of replicated layers, all with just one layer in your main comp.
