I reinstalled CS5 but still could not get the installer that comes with Camera Raw 6_4_1 to work. Additionally, the update on CS5 help indicates that I'm completely up-to-date on everything so it does not indicate a need for any additional version of Camera Raw. I have a new Fujifilm x100s camera that needs the new Camera Raw file to work. I'm very frustrated with Adobe right now. Their support is not very helpful.
You probably already have camera raw 6.7 installed, so thats why you get the error message.
(under Photoshop>About Plug-in>Camera Raw or Help>About Plug-in>Camera Raw, see which version it says)
Since that camera requires at least camera raw 7.4 and cs5 can only use up to camera raw 6.7, you'd need to
use the 8.3 dng converter to convert your files to dng copies which can then be opened in photoshop cs5.
