Hi. I have added a clickTag to an swf, uploaded it to the Double click validator and recieved this positive feedback. However once the swf is uploaded into DFP (Doubleclick for publishers) and the tester tries clicking on the flash units, they will not open to the landing page.
The attached image from Double click validator offers some possible solutions.
Can anyone tell me if these solutions are changes made in flash itself or are they made to the page hosting the flash content? I am specifically talking about the suggestion of 'checking off "Allow Script Access" and changing "Allow Script Access" from 'never' to 'always'. Do I do this in Flash and the re-publish or should it be done in the page hosting the flash.
Many thanks for any suggestions with this
those settings are in the swf's embedding html page.
Thanks very much for the quick response.
The client has only asked me to provide the swf and the current version of the clickTag swf is validated as working by google doubleclick. Would I therefore be right in instructing them that they have to try these fixes on the page on which the swf will be embeded?
Many thanks again for your response
if they want to assign the allowscriptaccess property, that's done in the embedding code, not actionscript.
