Can't download FlashPlayer

Getting this message:

Adobe Reader could not open 'install_flash_player_osx-5.dmg' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

Have repaired permissions and restarted but get the same message.

I have  Mac, OS X 10.6.8

That's the FULL installer.

If it gives you the error still, you've got something "breaking the download".

I'm getting the same message, did you ever sort out how to fix it? That link above didn't work

Can you please tell when you are getting this error message and details about your browser, OS and current flash player version ?

To get the latest offline installers for Mac, visit Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac and look for the "Still having problems" section at the bottom of the page and download flash player for your corresponding browser.
