If you are unlucky, the Kobo has failed in some way. Lets hope not.
Does the kobo show up as a mounted drive in your file manager (Windows Explorer, Mac FInder) when plugged in?
One thing would be to try a different USB cable; it is not unusual for them to fail.
Can't think of anything else for now.
Thank u for ur reply. well when i plug it in it is detected by the computer n you can open it on my computer. the problem is before i reset it there were some files on the kobo along with my ones from digital editions. but now it is empty. i believe this may be my problem but i dont know how to get those files back
You will probably have lost the books etc that were there before the factory reset,
unless you have a backup elsewhere or can download them again from the supplier.
However, I would expect a factory reset to keep/restore any files necessary for basic operation.
Unless anyone on this forum with a Kobo can help with more detail, you are probably best off contacting Kobo for advice.
ok. i will try that. thanks anyway.
